7.12 Compliance
The ÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ System of Georgia (ÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ) shall comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and encourage ethical conduct as detailed in the ÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ Ethics Policy. The Chancellor shall designate an individual with overall responsibility for the ÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ compliance and ethics program.
An institution-wide approach to compliance shall be adopted by all ÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ institutions and compliance processes shall be embedded into the institutionÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ™s management systems. An institutionÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ™s compliance program shall incorporate best practices as outlined by the federal guidelines for an effective Ethics & Compliance Program. Implementation of each institutionÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ™s compliance program shall be in accordance with the procedures outlined by the ÖгöÉÙ¸¾ÊÓƵ System Office.
