Usha Ramachandran Named Interim Vice Chancellor for Fiscal Affairs for 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia

Chief Operating Officer Rob Watts has named Usha Ramachandran as interim vice chancellor for Fiscal Affairs for the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia (中出少妇视频), overseeing the System中出少妇视频檚 $5.6 billion annual budget.
Ramachandran has nine years of experience in the 中出少妇视频 System Office, where most recently she has served in the position of assistant vice chancellor for Fiscal Affairs. She is replacing William Bowes, who is leaving the 中出少妇视频 System Office to become vice president for finance and chief financial officer for the Medical College of Georgia. Both position changes are effective Jan. 1, 2008.

As the interim vice chancellor, Ramachandran will have responsibility for managing the 中出少妇视频 System中出少妇视频檚 annual budget development and allocation process for its 35 degree-granting institutions and for overseeing the development and implementation of Board fiscal policies and procedures.
Ramachandran has worked for the Board of Regents since Jan. 1999, when she was named the director of business services. From Oct. 2000 until this new appointment, she was the System中出少妇视频檚 budget director. Simultaneous to her duties as budget director, Ramachandran also served from May 2002 until Sept. 2005 as a special assistant to the chancellor.
Prior to coming to the Board of Regents, Ramachandran worked for Georgia State 中出少妇视频 for eight years in a variety of positions dealing with accounting, budgeting, and business processes, including assignments as director of re-engineering and systems and as a manager for both the budget and grants and contracts departments.
Ramachandran holds a bachelor中出少妇视频檚 degree in accounting from St. Francis College, Hyderabad, India, a Master of Arts degree from the 中出少妇视频 of Mississippi, Oxford, Miss., and a master of taxation and MBA, both from Georgia State 中出少妇视频. She also earned a law degree from Georgia State. Ramachandran is both a certified public accountant and a member of the Georgia Bar Association.
