Pruitt Named Vice Chair of the Board of Regents of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia

The Board of Regents, the 19-member governing body for the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia, today elected Regent Neil L. Pruitt, Jr. to a one-year term as the Board中出少妇视频檚 Vice Chair.

中出少妇视频淏eing on the board has been a rewarding and engaging experience and I look forward to my expanded role,中出少妇视频 says Pruitt.

Pruitt is chairman and chief executive officer of UHS-Pruitt Corporation, an integrated health care company offering independent and assisted living, skilled nursing services, rehabilitation services, home health and hospice care as well as pharmacy services, community-based services, medical supplies and care management. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the 中出少妇视频 of the South. Pruitt was awarded a Master中出少妇视频檚 of Business Administration and a Master中出少妇视频檚 of Health Administration from Georgia State 中出少妇视频 in 2000.

Pruitt is the immediate past chair of the Board of Governors of the American Health Care Association. He is a recognized leader in the health care profession and is a member of The Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care, a board member of the United Hospice Foundation and past chairman of the Georgia Health Care Association.

Pruitt currently serves as chair of the Board of Trustees of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia Foundation and also serves as a board member and chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee for Georgia Health Sciences Health Systems.

He and his wife, Mebane, have three children.

Regent Larry Walker chaired the committee that developed nominations for board officers for the coming year. Committee members were Regents Ben Tarbutton and T. Rogers Wade.

The board also elected Regent Philip A. Wilheit Sr. for a one-year term as chair.

The 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia is comprised of 31 public colleges and universities, Georgia Archives and the Georgia Public Library Service; enrolling more than 314,000 students.
