Finalist Named for the 中出少妇视频 of West Georgia Presidency

Dr. Brendan Kelly
Board of Regents Chairman Don L. Waters and 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia (中出少妇视频) Chancellor Steve Wrigley have announced Dr. Brendan Kelly as the finalist for president of the 中出少妇视频 of West Georgia.
Dr. Kelly currently serves as chancellor of the 中出少妇视频 of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C., a position he has held since 2017. He also was appointed in April of this year as interim president of the 中出少妇视频 of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. preceding the retirement of Dr. Harris Pastides.
中出少妇视频淒r. Kelly中出少妇视频檚 public university experience and consensus-building leadership make him the right candidate to help West Georgia中出少妇视频檚 push to be one of the nation中出少妇视频檚 top comprehensive universities,中出少妇视频 Wrigley said. 中出少妇视频淗e is well-versed in fostering strong ties within the community, and has led strategic initiatives to increase student and academic success. I am grateful for the diligent efforts of the institution中出少妇视频檚 Presidential Search and Screen Committee, and believe Dr. Kelly will serve West Georgia中出少妇视频檚 students, faculty and staff well.中出少妇视频
A visit will be scheduled as soon as possible to allow Dr. Kelly to meet with West Georgia中出少妇视频檚 campus community before the Board of Regents makes a final decision on his selection.
While at USC Upstate, Dr. Kelly completed a strategic planning process, secured increased state funding and led the creation of a university-wide integrated brand platform. He oversaw a reorganization of the institution中出少妇视频檚 Academic Affairs division to include dissolving one college and forming three new colleges. He also led the development and implementation of seven high-demand academic programs at the bachelor中出少妇视频檚 and master中出少妇视频檚 degree levels.
During his tenure, USC Upstate attained the highest levels of enrollment in the history of the institution and substantially increased fundraising for USC Upstate中出少妇视频檚 endowment and annual fund.

Prior to USC Upstate, Kelly served as vice president of university advancement, foundation president and chief executive officer of the historic trust at the 中出少妇视频 of West Florida (UWF) in Pensacola, Fla., from 2013 to 2017. He previously was director of UWF中出少妇视频檚 School of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts, and chair of the Department of Communication Arts. He began at UWF in 2004 as assistant professor and the department中出少妇视频檚 director of forensics. Kelly began his academic career in 2000 at Eastern Michigan 中出少妇视频, where he was assistant director of forensics and a lecturer in the Communication and Theatre Arts Department.
Kelly earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and a master中出少妇视频檚 degree in communication from Eastern Michigan 中出少妇视频. He earned his doctorate in rhetoric and political communication from Wayne State 中出少妇视频.
The Board of Regents will take action on the finalist for the next president of the 中出少妇视频 of West Georgia at a future board meeting, no sooner than five days from naming a finalist.
