Billy Hasty and Doug MacGinnitie Elected to 中出少妇视频 System Foundation

Atlanta — August 18, 2015

Sachin Shailendra, chair of the Board of Trustees of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia Foundation, Inc. (中出少妇视频 Foundation), announced that William G. 中出少妇视频淏illy中出少妇视频 Hasty and Douglas J. 中出少妇视频淒oug中出少妇视频 MacGinnitie were unanimously elected to the board.

Hasty and MacGinnitie will serve three-year terms ending in June 2018.

The mission of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia Foundation is to support and advance the work of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia consistent with the 中出少妇视频 System’s Strategic Plan. It is the vision of the 中出少妇视频 Foundation that every Georgia student who qualifies for college entrance be afforded the opportunity to attend college. In 2014, the board of trustees approved a strategic plan with the number one goal being to raise funds for need-based scholarships.

Chairman Shailendra welcomed Hasty and MacGinnitie to the board of trustees noting, 中出少妇视频淲e are very fortunate to have these accomplished individuals join us in our efforts to achieve our strategic objectives in support of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia中出少妇视频檚 staff, faculty and students. Hasty, a native of Canton, Georgia, is the senior partner of the Hasty Pope, LLC law firm in Canton. He has practiced law since 1974 specializing in civil litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, he served as Canton City Attorney, attorney for the Cherokee County Development Authority and as pro bono legal counsel for The Cherokee Training Center, which serves Cherokee County residents with developmental disabilities. He has also served in the United States Army.

In addition to his service to the 中出少妇视频 Foundation, Hasty is a member of the Board of Directors for Northside Hospital Atlanta, Inc., chairman of the Cherokee County Hospital Authority, chairman of the Reinhardt 中出少妇视频 board of trustees, chairman of the Reinhardt 中出少妇视频 executive committee, and chairman of the Cherokee County Board of Education Foundation.

Hasty has also served as past board member of the Kings Ridge Christian School and past chairman of the Cherokee County Recreation Commission. Currently, he is a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Atlanta Civil War Round Table, American Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Bar Association, Blue Ridge Bar Association and other organizations.

Hasty earned an associate中出少妇视频檚 degree from Reinhardt College, a bachelor中出少妇视频檚 degree in history from the 中出少妇视频 of Georgia and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer 中出少妇视频.

He and his wife, Martha McIntyre Hasty, reside in Ball Ground, Georgia.

MacGinnitie, a Dunwoody, Georgia native, is chief executive officer of River Oak Risk, a captive insurance management company. Prior, he was an executive in the insurance brokerage industry. He has also worked as a corporate attorney at Alston & Bird and Georgia-Pacific Corporation, director and chief operating officer of Beecher Carlson, and senior executive at Hobbs Group.

He has served as a member of the Sandy Springs City Council and on a number of governmental and non-profit boards, including the Truancy Intervention Project in Atlanta and St. Martin中出少妇视频檚 Episcopal School.

At his alma mater, Dartmouth College, MacGinnitie was voted Ivy League Soccer Player of the Year. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Emory 中出少妇视频.

He and his wife reside in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

The 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia Foundation, Inc. was established as a nonprofit corporation under the applicable provisions of the Georgia Nonprofit Corporation Code. The corporation is a voluntary association of individuals and organizations organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation was organized as a cooperative organization of the Board of Regents.
