Albany State President Everette Freeman Named to Colorado Position

Albany State 中出少妇视频 President Everette J. Freeman has been named as the new president of the Community College of Denver in Denver, Colorado. Freeman, who has been president of ASU since 2005, will step down from the ASU position on Oct. 31.

中出少妇视频淧resident Freeman has guided Albany State with integrity and with a focus on serving its students and the community,中出少妇视频 said Hank Huckaby, chancellor of the 中出少妇视频 System of Georgia (中出少妇视频). 中出少妇视频淯nder his leadership, the 中出少妇视频 has created strategic partnerships with state, local and federal agencies and its financial performance has significantly improved. He also has made important contributions to the 中出少妇视频 System, particularly in the area of emergency planning.中出少妇视频

During Freeman中出少妇视频檚 tenure, ASU built a new early learning center, a student center, and two student residence halls. The 中出少妇视频 also was successful in retiring the debt service for the football stadium.

The campus is now well into completing the campus master plan which was updated in 2009 under Freeman中出少妇视频檚 leadership. The 中出少妇视频 was also successful in gaining full reaccreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 2008.

Albany State enrolls more than 4,000 students, offers more than 40 bachelors中出少妇视频 and masters中出少妇视频 degrees in business, criminal justice, nursing, public administration, social work and an educational specialist degree.

Information on the appointment of an interim president for ASU will be announced at a future date.
